My training as a maxillofacial surgeon gives me something uncommon among those who operate on the nose: I command the entire bone structure of the face, not just the surface.
A nose is never projected in isolation: it works in relation to the chin, the cheeks and the balance of the profile.
That's why every plan starts with a complete study of the face and is designed with you, in a 3D simulation, to achieve a result that respects your identity.

We operate in an accredited private hospital in Barcelona, with a trusted team and the highest safety standards.
Follow-up
I'm with you throughout recovery, with close check-ups and remote follow-up if you live outside Barcelona.

Training & experience
A career built in Spain's leading hospitals
When you operate on the face, knowing its structure inside out changes everything. That's why I trained for five years in Maxillofacial Surgery at Hospital Universitari Vall d'Hebron (2019–2024), one of Spain's leading referral centres for head and neck, orthognathic and reconstructive facial surgery.
I then sub-specialized in facial plastic surgery as a Fellow of the SECPF, focused on ultrasonic rhinoplasty and facial feminization, and I'm a Fellow of the European Board (FEBOMS), with an MSc in Aesthetic Medicine from the Complutense University of Madrid.
Today I practise as a maxillofacial surgeon at Hospital Germans Trias i Pujol and dedicate my private practice in Barcelona to facial surgery: rhinoplasty, profiloplasty, facelift, blepharoplasty and facial feminization.

What is the first consultation like?+
We talk calmly about what you'd like to improve, I study your face and, where it helps, show you a 3D simulation. You leave with a clear plan and a quote, and no commitment to go ahead.
Where is the surgery performed?+
The consultation is in Barcelona and surgery in an accredited private hospital in the city. I always work with a trusted team and the highest safety standards.
Do you treat international patients?+
Yes. We start with a remote assessment, in English or Spanish, and coordinate your trip and your follow-up. Many of my patients come from outside Barcelona.
How much does it cost?+
Every case is different, so the quote is settled in consultation, after I've examined you. We work with financing options so the plan can fit you.
What should I bring to my first consultation?+
Just your questions and, if you have them, any previous photos or medical reports. The consultation is there to listen and guide you — with no commitment.
Do I need to speak Spanish?+
No. Consultations are available in English; Dr. Alarcón is bilingual and regularly sees international patients.
